My Mom never tells me stuff till after it’s over either..really aggravating. Hope that it’s something easily treated and that she is going to be fine. My Aunt died of colon cancer, but even with my Crohn’s, my Mom’s Diverticulitis and my sis’s megacolon, none of us have had cancer.  So just cause one person had it, don’t have her go jumping to conclusions. My thoughts are with your family. Connie

Thanks eMi Just proves a point that the tendency for IBD is prevalent in family history … When I was first diagnosed back in 1998 .. I didn’t know anyone else in the family had any problems … but found out later that my aunt and several cousins and 2nd cousins all have Colitis … none with CC , but still an IBD Maryjo – who is leaving in 1 hour to enjoy the Gulf Coast … to buy some real sponges … and to visit quant shops Got questions?  Get answers over the phone at Keen.com.
