LOL! That was a pretty good showing by the Samoan boys…gave your boys a fright I think. Going to any more of the games while you are there? > Right – off to another meeting now – byeeee :)

Spoken like a proud Cockrell, and quite right too. The "informed" opinion seems to suggest that if England keep it together, the only team with a prayer of stopping them, are France. Btw, despite being genetically programmed to despise the French, my father lives in France, as does my Stepsister and her family. My Mum and Stepdad have just bought a house there too :) steveb ps .. I think the true final will be an England v. All Blacks semi!

I agree with you, this is going to be the best game. Let’s wait for the quarter finals and then we shall see much clearer. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text ->We are going to wn the world cup…… > Spoken like a proud Cockrell, and quite right too. > The "informed" opinion seems to suggest that if England keep it together, > the only team with a prayer of stopping them, are France. > Btw, despite being genetically programmed to despise the French, my father > lives in France, as does my Stepsister and her family. hehe ….. We are playing Wales in the quarter finals. The Welsh players have been a little distracted, finding themselves playing a tournament held in one of the few countries home to more sheep than their own! :) steveb

Sitting in my office in Melbourne – thought I would just say Hi. Working in Melbourne this week, Sydney next – this is the first long haul trip I’ve done since I stopped smoking; and boy is it easier. No more worrying about non-smoking flights, whether I can get a smoking-permitted hotel room, etc etc – it’s great!! Hope you are all doing well – internet access is intermittent whilst travelling, so can’t post that much right now; hope to catch up with everyone when I get back.
