There’s a scene in HIGHLANDER where a "survivalist" gets a Torso Piercing by one of the "immortal" piercers of our times.  Interesting technique. Through the brain is the most painless way to kill yourself. Seriously, there are phenomenal dangers of infection when the chest or abdominal cavity are breached.  A pierce right through your torso will provide a straight-line access to your innards for all sorts of diseases. While I’m not an MD, I know enough to know that this is an incredibly dangerous idea… David Hunt, PhD Grad. : I would like to pierce my torso (right through) – any ideas on the safest : location and how best to go about this? I once saw this old film of a Circus performer who could drive a sword right through his belly.  Basically, he started by making a small hole in his side, waiting for that to form scar tissue, then he pushed a little deeper in, waited for that to heal.  And so on, basically forming a tunnel of scar tissue.  As scar tissue has no live nerve endings in, he could do the sword trick with minimal pain.  I can’t remember the ‘exact’ location of the hole, but would recommend checking out a GOOD medical textbook before starting, as there’s lots of sensitive bits in there that could do without having a needle rammed through! — "Base not your joy upon the deeds of others, () Daryl Parson                 ()   No Hope = No Fear…"                      ||                              ||         Pete Steele – Type O Negative       _||_    Waiting for the dawn… _||_
