Isaiah 45:9 Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. ===>Why not? You can make any sort of nonsensical connection with any nonsensical portion of the Bible. — L.

===>Did you know that "THE BRANCH" came a hundred years later? A successful messianic liberator king BAR KOCHBA. Of course his success did not last, ultimately he was defeated by the Romans. IESOUS of the Gospels appears to have tried to follow Zechariah as a kind of script, but ended up with utter disappointment and failure. His last words, according to the story, were a complaint that his "God" had "forsaken him." Zechariah – Chapter 9 > 9: Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: > behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; > lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.
===>This is one act IESOUS is said to have completed. He may have believed that if he only gets on his ass and marches into Jerusalem as a king, "God" would fulfill the promise given to his mom and he would get to sit on the throne of David. > 3: Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as > when he fought in the day of battle. > 5: … and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee. > ***** > "To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before > God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all > his saints." ===>Another act he is said to perform is the "cleansing of the Temple". This you fail to cite: 14:21 "…And there shall no longer be traders in the house of the LORD of hosts on that day." Zechariah – Chapter 14 3: Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. ===>You sneakily omitted the line saying that he will stand on the Mount of Olives! That is where poor IESOUS went to confront the Romans, after ordering his men to sell their coats and buy swords, expecting, apparently, the fulfillment of the prophecy that "God" would come and join them in the fight to destroy the Gentiles ("nations"). Of course there was a no show, he was captured, tried for sedition, and executed by the Romans. So much for believing in "prophecies". — L.

Jesus already removed the iniquity. You are waiting for a physically changed Earth, with no more sinners. But the Bible says that they will always be here. — Pastor Dave 1st Century Church of Christ The end timers believe in a literal, physical New Jerusalem. But is that what Scripture teaches? No, it doesn’t! So what is the New Jerusalem? It is amazing what the end timers miss, especially since it is stated clearly that the New Jerusalem is the bride of Christ, the church. Revelation 21:1,9-10 1) And I saw a new heaven and a new earth. For the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. 9) And one of the seven angels who had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues came to me and talked with me, saying, Come here, I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife. 10) And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain and showed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of Heaven from God

The stone with seven eyes IS the lamb that will remove the iniquity of that land in one day – Jesus Christ. But you cannot make the connection with the lamb of this perfect sacrifice and the lamb with seven eyes and horns. — (`’
