Letter to Dad. . .(another 'Parent found Out')
Question:
To continue with a much discussed thread here. . . Was feelin kinda bad that I didn’t just out and tell my dad about the tounge pierce when he was visiting me this weekend (didnt notice a THING), so I sent him an email to tell him about it. We are pretty close, and I hate keeping things from him. Plus, I figger, Im gonna always be doin things that will potentially annoy the rents, may as well start being open with things. So far, no response. Sigh. I wonder. Is he mad? Shocked? Or just resigned. More, when more happens. Cynthia — "I am here to live life OUT LOUD" –Emile Zola

I know that my dad was a greaser and got into alot of fights and pissed his parents off. I am/was a tattoo’d green haired punk rocker and that bothered my parents. So what the hell are my kids going to do to me. This scares me. — Gavin Pierce

Well, I am personally hoping that after what I have done and/or seen, my potential kids won’t be able to freak me out too bad… but that is wishful thinking… OTOH, as my roommate said to me: "There is *nothing* you could *possibly* do that would scare me any more."

My nightmare is that I will have children who will turn out to be born- again-christian, up-tight young republicans! That thought has kept me out of the baby market for quite a while. Jay —
