PMOSE
Here's an argument for tax credits for education, or something.
From a quiz I gave last week:
Question: How would Rav react if a Mishna contradicted what he felt the halacha to be?
Answer I wanted (as quoted from the article linked above):
From a quiz I gave last week:
Question: How would Rav react if a Mishna contradicted what he felt the halacha to be?
Answer I wanted (as quoted from the article linked above):
“Rav Tanna Hu U-Polig,” Rav is considered as a Tanna and consequently has the right to dispute with a Tanna.” Rav was a transitional figure, between the Period of the Tannaim (Scholars of the Mishnah) and the later Period of the Amoraim (Scholars of the Gemara).Answer I got: He would get angry and assasinate the person who ruled that way (targeted assasination).

Have you considered getting that kid some serious help?
Truth be told, it's not as though the answer you were hoping for is really a response to the question you wrote.
Also, maybe he means assasinate as it's used in our favorite story from Tractate Megillah.
i love the pmose!
I -- you're right, my bad. I was hoping he would respond by pointing out that Rav was certainly well-versed (from his time spent studying in Israel with later Tannaim) in the art of simply disagreeing with a Mishna, an option generally not available to his Babylonian counterparts.
anon -- we were just having an Israel Discussion, so that's apparently what stuck. No cause for alarm; just a (successful) attempt at humor.
